What makes Pink Fairy Cleaning different than other cleaning companies?
Pink Fairy Cleaning is unique in that we are as personal as an independent cleaner, yet offer the professionalism and protections of a larger organisation. Like an independent cleaner, our fairies work alone or in small teams of 2. We get to know you and your home. But unlike an independent cleaner, Pink Fairy is an employer and handles all the training, payroll, withholding taxes and workers compensation. Pink Fairy is the best of both worlds, personal yet professional.
How can I pay for the cleaning?
Pink Fairy gladly accepts the following forms of payment:
* Bank Transfer
An Invoice will be emailed after completion of the clean. Payment options are listed. If paying by cash, you will need to leave the money at the time of the clean in a visible area for the cleaning fairy to collect.
Will I always have the same Cleaning Fairy?
We always try to send the same cleaning fairy to your home for each visit. Sometimes that’s not always possible due to illness, vacations or days off. But don’t worry! If your regular fairy is out, we will send another amazing fairy who has gone through extensive training. You can rest assured your home will be consistently cleaned, each and every time
How do you access my home?
Pink Fairy Cleaning needs to get into your home somehow in order to banish those dust bunnies. You can choose one of these three options to allow us into your home:
1. Most customers provide us with a house key that we keep at our office. Keys can be given to the cleaning fairy and kept at the office for security
2. If it’s not possible to leave a key with us, you can always meet your cleaning fairy at your home. If you’d like to wait for your cleaning fairy we will arrange a time. Please allow for a 15 minute window because many factors can affect arrival time, and we never want to rush out of a home or through traffic
3. You can leave a key on your property for the cleaning fairy to use. Some customers leave their key under the door mat or in the mailbox. However, we can not be responsible for theft by a third party or loss of the key.
What is the cost of my cleaning?
The cost of cleaning is based on a number of factors. The primary factors are the size and condition of your home and frequency of service. At Pink Fairy, we listen to what you want done in your home and will construct a personalised quote that will fit your budget.
What is your cancellation policy?
If you ever need to cancel or skip a cleaning day, just give Pink Fairy Cleaning two business days notice. This will give us time to reassign your cleaning fairy. They love to clean, you know. If Pink Fairy receives less than two business days’ notice, or can’t access your home, it may be necessary for us to charge up to the full price of your cleaning.
Are you insured?
Yes we are! We are fully insured with Public Liability and Workers Compensation.

What if something gets broken or damaged?
We know that cleaning your home requires our fairies to dust, polish or scrub virtually everything in order to get the clean we’re known for. We also know that sometimes accidents happen. So if any damage or loss does occur, just notify Pink Fairy within 48 hours of the cleaning date, and we’ll do our best to make it right.
However, if we are aware of any damage or breakage at the time of when we're at your home, we will let you know as soon as it occurred and start the process of making right.
